The Queen is the only one who can ‘talk sense’ into Prince Harry & mend rift with Prince William, royal expert claims

THE Queen is the only person who can talk sense into Prince Harry and help him mend his rift with Prince William, a royal expert says.

Royal correspondent Katie Nicholl says she is the “one who can make him see sense” in coming to any mutual agreement.

Royal expert claims The Queen is the only one who can help Harry with his rift

Prince Harry has had a long-running feud with brother William over his marriage to Meghan Markle, reports claim.

The once-close pair are said to have been at war for months after Harry accused Wills of trying to “wreck his relationship” with the ex-actress.

The “Fab Four” were split apart by the rift – with expectant parents Meghan and Harry choosing to move to Windsor away from William and Kate.

It was originally believed the feud was between Meghan and Kate, but The Celeb Report revealed the brothers were at the heart of the problem.

The brothers feud has been going on for months

This week it was also reported that Harry could bring son Archie to the UK for the unveiling of a Princess Diana statue while Meghan stays home with baby Lilibet.

It would be the first time the Royal Family has seen the couple’s son since they quit the UK more than a year go.

The statue of his late mother is due to be unveiled on what would have been her 60th birthday.

Discussing the plans for Princes William and Harry to reunite next month on Royal Beat TV for the unveiling of a statue of their mother, royal expert Phil Dampier tells the programme: “I don’t think William trusts Harry anymore and he is always worried that anything he says will end up in the press in two or three days’ time.

Meghan and Harry jetted overseas to raise a family of their own

“That’s what he is worried about, and he needs to be cautious of what he can actually say to him.”

And Katie adds that The Queen is the one member of the Royal Family who may discuss how to resolve the difficult relationship between her two grandsons when they are in the UK next month.

She says: “She is the only person who can talk to Harry in a certain way and make him see sense.”

Harry, 36, is expected to fly back to the UK for the poignant event on July 1 – but it was confirmed last week that Meghan will not be joining him.

She gave birth to daughter Lilibet on June 4, and as a result cannot attend.

Katie also talks about the Earl and Countess of Wessex’s higher profile in recent months, telling the programme: “She [Sophie] has emerged as such an unsung star of The Royal Family and I think she and Edward are having a bit of a moment. It is something of a royal renaissance.

Prince Harry and Meghan are now living in California following rift

“They have worked quietly in the background for all of these years.”

In a joint statement about their mother’s statue, Harry and William said: “It has been 20 years since our mother’s death and the time is right to recognise her positive impact in the UK and around the world with a permanent statue.

“Our mother touched so many lives. We hope the statue will help all those who visit Kensington Palace to reflect on her life and legacy.”

It was made by sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley.

Royal experts spoke on The Royal Beat

Harry will likely stay at Frogmore Cottage – the home he shared with his wife before their move to LA – where he stayed during his last UK visit for Prince Philip’s funeral.

It would mean he would be close to the Queen, after whom he named his daughter, and allegedly met privately “at least twice” in April.

This follows the recent news around whether Prince Harry requested permission from The Queen to call his daughter Lilibet was correctly reported and his reaction.

Phil Dampier tells the show that Prince Harry’s threat of legal action against the BBC and other media outlets was: “absolutely extraordinary and this is what worries me about him.

“Whenever something critical appears he runs straight to his lawyer. It’s very LA.

“It’s ok for Hollywood stars, but not to solve a family feud… I think the BBC correctly reported what she had told her royal aide to say, which was that she hadn’t been asked in advance.”

Katie adds: “I think the fact that there was no Palace denial to the BBC story spoke volumes.”

Harry is taking five months’ paternity leave following the birth of his daughter.

Meghan will not be returning to the UK for the statue unveiling

The prince’s 20-week paternity break compares with just a fortnight’s paid leave for new dads back in the UK.

The Duke of Cambridge, 38,  enjoyed two to three weeks off when Prince George and Princess Charlotte were born — but only two days for Prince Louis.

This episode of The Royal Beat will be available on 18 June on True Royalty TV.

Harry also insisted he would not be “bullied into silence” when he alleged The Firm “trapped” and smeared both he and Meghan.

However, in what has been seen by some as a step to reconcile with the royals, Harry and Meghan named their baby daughter Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana – the Queen’s family nickname, as well as his mother’s name.
