THE Queen has opened up her private archives, revealing never-seen-before footage and newsreels for her Platinum Jubilee.
More than 400 hours of clips from her childhood, days leading up to the coronation, and family life were scoured for a BBC documentary.
Her Majesty will narrate Elizabeth: The Unseen Queen thanks to producers cleverly using clippings from 60 speeches she has delivered.
Footage will include the monarch on her first trip abroad to South Africa at the age of 20, having fun with her sister Princess Margaret and being with her grandmother Queen Mary.

Portrait by robot
A PORTRAIT of the Queen painted by a humanoid robot artist has been unveiled for the Jubilee.
It was created by Ai-Da Robot, an artificial intelligence machine that also draws and sculpts.
The talking machine said: “I’d like to thank Her Majesty the Queen for her dedication.”

SHOWERS are lurking for next week’s celebrations.
The Met Office is tracking a plume of warm air which may send rain from South to North from Thursday, and bring typical early June temperatures of 17C (62F).
But this weekend could be balmy at 21C (70F).

Corgi PJ’s E.R. Emoji
A CROWN-wearing corgi called PJ has been unveiled as the official emoji of the Platinum Jubilee.
The cheerful dog’s cartoon image appeared on the Royal Family’s official Twitter account yesterday.
