A PLACE in the Sun viewers have ‘boycotted’ the show after spotting something very wrong with the latest episode.
Monday’s episode of the Channel 4 show saw Jean Johansson meet brothers Peter and David in Torrevieja, Spain.
The pair had a budget of £100,000 and hoped to find a three bedroom property with plenty of outdoor space and a communal swimming pool.
However, as the episode continued, a number of viewers realised they had seen it before.
Indeed, Peter and David’s episode had first aired in April last year, and the revelation prompted many to switch off.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: “Afternoon Villamartin seekers! Cba with these repeats.”
A fellow viewer replied: “Same. Me & Tina are boycotting it as well.”
Another added: “Afternoon all, another week of repeats!”
A third shared: “I think everyone is fed up of repeats #aplaceinthesun.”
After seeing all five properties with Jean, the brothers decided to go for the fifth and final one they had visited.
The villa was priced at £102,000 but Peter and David put in a cheeky low offer of £88,000 which was rejected.
However they made a counter off of £92,000 which was accepted.
A Place in the Sun airs weekdays at 3pm on Channel 4.
