OUR Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen has let fame “go to her head” as she battles a “rocky patch” with husband Clive, her step daughter has bluntly claimed.
The Celeb Report Online exclusively told how the glam shepherdess, 47, – a mum of nine – was feeling “fragile” after a barrage of online trolling.
This came after it was revealed Channel 5 personality Amanda and her husband, whom she first met on their sprawling rural property, are battling to save their 21-year marriage.
In a joint statement released after the news broke, the couple said they “never said their marriage was perfect”.
Amanda’s stepdaughter Rosie, 34, has now spoken out and told how fame through the TV show changed her step-mother, a former model – and how she is “desperately sorry” for her dad.
Rosie, who is 66-year-old Clive’s daughter from his first marriage, told MailOnline: “Dad will be absolutely miserable.
“He adores Amanda. He’d do anything for her.”
Addressing the potential impact of Our Yorkshire Farm on the relationship she added: “It was never Clive’s scene. I think he enjoyed it a little bit, but, you know, it has all gone to Amanda’s head.”
Yet suggesting she did not have high hopes for her dad’s marriage, she said of the split: “It doesn’t do much for her image, but she’s going to go far.
“She’ll be on Loose Women next.
“They would stay together for ever if it was up to my dad.
“But after all this fame, it was just a matter of time.”
COUPLE’S STATEMENT
The couple, who juggle their brood with their 2,000-acre Ravenseat farm in Swaledale, have spoken out about their “rocky patch.”
A statement read: “With the TV show and the books we’ve always aimed to show the reality of life on the farm, and just like any marriage we have our stresses and strains, coupled with all the complexities of what we do on the farm and bringing up nine kids.
“We’re a normal family and we’ve never said our marriage is perfect.
“Unfortunately the constant intrusion into our lives from the media has amplified a rocky patch that we’re going through.
“We ask that the media respect our privacy as we work through this.”
Their comments come after The Celeb Report revealed Amanda, 47, has been spending nights away from the family home while her new book hails the virtues of domestic life.
This came after she branded her own pad a “s***hole”.

MARRIAGE PAIN
Amanda this week exclusively opened up to The Celeb Report on her raw emotional pain – and the trolls that spark it.
Speaking of the cruel comment, she said: “Sometimes I steer clear. Sometimes you feel quite fragile and think you could do without that.
“And sometimes you just feel like smashing someone’s face in.
“It just goes between there and there. I go for totally ignoring it. Quite simply as a kid I was told: ‘If you have nothing good to say, say nothing.’
“I watch very little television – if there’s something I didn’t like I would turn it off or turn it over.
“I would not get in touch with that person and tell them I couldn’t stand their smile or the sound of their voice.
“You can’t keep everyone happy so the more you realise that, the more you’ll be ok.
“One person will say: ‘Isn’t it amazing she still makes cups of tea for tourists, she’s so grounded.’
“And another person goes: ‘How desperate is she still making cups of tea.’”
