Speaking to the camera, Tommy said: “Unfortunately we didn’t get the results that we were staying positive for and Georgia’s had a miscarriage.”

The devastated mum broke down in tears and said: “When someone says that baby’s not going to make it, it’s like ‘what do you mean?’, I don’t get it.”

Curled up on the sofa wearing a pair of grey leggings and a matching sweatshirt, Georgia told Tommy: “I don’t think I’ve ever felt pain like it.”

Fighting back her tears, she added: “It’s so hard ain’t it,” while Tommy was seen looking heartbroken as he dealt with his grief.

Many fans were sad to see the couple

One wrote: “Tommy and Georgia are so brave.”

Another posted: “My hearts broken for Georgia and Tommy, such a lovely family.”

A third said: “So glad you shared your miscarriage journey with fans Georgia, sending lots of love.”

Earlier on in the episode, the couple explained that they were hoping for good news ahead of their 12 week scan.

Tommy said: “We’re waiting to go back for the 12 week scan and Georgia’s done the test as well to rule out chromosome problems, and we’ll take it from there.

“The last two weeks, we’re just trying to make sure we keep as positive as possible.”

“All we can do is just wait,” Georgia said.

Meanwhile, Tommy confided in his best friend Nathan about his and Georgia’s pregnancy concerns.

He told Nathan: “Georgia she’s pregnant, we told everyone on the Monday, on the Sunday she’s bleeding.

“Got a scan the next day, the said everything was all good. We leave and Georgia’s still bleeding, so we thought there is definitely something wrong here.

“We go to another clinic and they say it’s not good news, the sac is too small for the baby.

“I don’t even know what all of this stuff is, I’m trying to be strong for Georgia.”

He then revealed that Georgia had already picked their unborn child’s name.

Tommy added: “I’ve just got to stay as positive as I can for Georgia.

“We got the scan and she got so attached to the baby straight away, she’s named the baby, she’s bought clothes for the baby.

“When I open the back of her car and see baby bags on the back seat, I had to hide them when we got the bad news on the Monday.”
