End of an Era

The BBC has confirmed that it has decided to pull the plug on its popular dating show, "Eating With My Ex". The show, narrated by Alice Levine, first premiered on BBC3 back in 2017 and quickly gained a dedicated following.

A Rollercoaster of Emotions

"Eating With My Ex" brought former couples together for an intense dinner experience, capturing all the drama and tension that ensued. Over the course of five seasons, the reality show became a fan favorite, receiving a Bafta nomination and even spawning celebrity specials.

Thank You and Goodbye

However, all good things must come to an end. A BBC spokesperson told The Celeb Report, "The Bafta-nominated dating series Eating with My Ex concluded in 2021 and we’d like to thank everyone who was involved in the program for bringing it to screen." The last episode, a celebrity special, aired last year, marking the end of an era for the beloved show.

Brief Stint in the Limelight

Throughout its run, "Eating With My Ex" attracted a number of famous faces, adding an extra level of intrigue for viewers. Celebrities such as TOWIE's Yazmin Oukhellou and James Locke, Love Island's Megan Barton-Hanson and TOWIE's Demi Sims, as well as Chloe Brockett and Harry Lee, all appeared at the dinner table, providing plenty of memorable moments.

Changes at the BBC

The cancellation of "Eating With My Ex" follows the recent news that comedian Romesh Ranganathan's BBC2 show, 'The Ranganation', is also facing the axe. The 45-year-old host engaged a panel of celebrity guests to discuss current events on his topical news program. It seems that the BBC is making some changes to its programming lineup, bidding farewell to these long-standing shows.
