The moving clip sees a youngster doubt his ability on the field, until his pal steps forward and gives him a motivational speech.

The video shows a young teammate supporting his pal

The worried player is heard telling his coach: “Everyone’s older than me, everyone’s bigger than me!”

His teammate takes matters into his own hands and tells him: “Listen to me. Trust me. Look at me, Bob. I am the shortest kid here, it doesn’t matter if you’re short, if you’re young. It doesn’t matter if you’re tall, or if you are fat here,” he said.

“You are a brilliant rugby player. Do you understand that? You are insane! You are actually insane for your age. Right, give me a hug.”

The coach, who was clearly blown away by the moment, can be heard saying: “Best teammate ever.”

After watching the clip, an emotional Charlotte declared: “Oh that is just so lovely.”

Ben told her: “I can’t watch it without wanting to cry,” and she agreed: “It does bring a tear to the eye.”

An emotional Ben continued: “Honestly, young Jack…

“It’s the leadership and the compassion and the hug at the end, everyone knows I like a good hug. The way he hugs his mate and says you are brilliant give me a hug.”

Charlotte added:  “I think to say that, to lift the spirits of another member of the team who is struggling, I think we all need a Jack in our lives. We all need someone who gives us a hug, whatever is going on – ‘you’ve got this’”.

She then joked that she would like to see Jack as prime minister, with Ben admitting: “I’d be willing to wait.”
