Britain’s Got Talent child star Ellis Chick unrecognisable eight years after show – and now works in a restaurant

BRITAIN’S Got Talent star Ellis Chick looks very different eight years after the show.

Fast forward eight years on and Ellis is all grown up and now works in a restaurant.

He made it through to the semi-finals when he sang You Make Me Feel So Young by Michael Bublé.

Alesha Dixon praised his song choice as “genius” and his performance as “brilliant”.

Simon Cowell however criticised his performance stating that he had picked up “corny habits”.

After the performance, David Walliams went on stage to sing with him.

He advanced onto the following round and later reached the semi-finals where he performed Cry Me A River originally by Julie London.

He stood on top of a golden lit up box on the stage – but his showstopping performance was not enough to save him.

Ellis was eliminated by the public vote and came in fourth place at the end of his semi-final.

He has now changed careers, swapping the mic for an apron in Bristol.

The former child star told fans on social media that he now works at a steak restaurant.

He shared photos of the menu which shows new dishes on offer at the high street diner.

The singer also looks unrecognisable from his TV stardom days – with a new hairdo and fashion sense.
