Who is in the line-up of BGT The Ultimate Magician?
Britain’s Got Talent The Ultimate Magician showcases the very best magicians from the Got Talent shows globally.
Hosted by Stephen Mulhern, viewers will get to see BGT favourites competing against the very best magic acts from around the world.
Ten magical acts will perform, and the winner will be chosen by the theatre audience – but who will be crowned the Ultimate Magician and take away the £50,000 prize?
This special one of show will air on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at 8pm on ITV.
The ten contestants taking part are:
- The Witch – appeared on BGT in 2022
- The Clairvoyants – appeared on AGT in 2016
- Marc Spelmann – appeared on BGT in 2019
- Mandy Muden – appeared on BGT in 2018
- Magical Bones – appeared on BGT in 2020
- Kevin James – appeared on AGT in 2014
- Eric Chein – appeared on AGT in 2019
- Colin Cloud – appeared on AGT in 2017
- Richard Jones – won BGT in 2016
- Tony – appeared on AGT in 2017
Speaking about the line-up, Amelia Brown, Managing Director of producers Thames, said: “We’ve scoured a huge selection of incredibly talented magicians across many Got Talent shows around the world, to bring audiences the very best performers on one stage.
“Viewers can expect a spellbinding display of talent with magic that needs to be seen to be believed.”
Who are the judges on Britain’s Got Talent: The Ultimate Magician?
Regular judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams will be on the panel.
But they will be joined by magic legend Penn Jillette – half of duo Penn & Teller – sitting in for Simon Cowell who has filming commitments in the USA.
Penn told ITV: “Being a guest judge on BGT is going to be the cushiest job ever.
“They’ve gone all around the world to find the most astounding magicians, and I get to sit and watch and be amazed. I cannot wait!”
