How can I apply for The Repair Shop?
Applicants for The Repair Shop have to be over the age of 18 to apply.
To apply fill in the online application form on the Ricochet website.
Alternatively, if the use of technology isn’t for you, you can send your application via email ([email protected]).
You can also mail a letter to The Repair Shop, Ricochet, Pacific House, 126 Dyke Road, Brighton, BN1 3TE.
The application is fairly long, so be prepared to give as much detail about yourself as possible.
This is including basic information such as name and address, as well as details about your beloved item.
The Repair Shop is located at the Weald and Downland Living Museum in Singleton, West Sussex.
Since 2017, the museum’s Court Barn has been used for filming the show.

Rob Butterfield, head of factual at the show’s production company Ricochet, told the BBC: “We don’t charge for repairs.
“If people wish to make a donation to charity we’re very happy with that, but it’s by no means necessary.”
