They also reflect on Sam’s death and Iain insists that he’s had all the recommended therapy and doesn’t need any more.

Jacob prompts him to practice what he preaches and not bottle up his emotions – but will he listen?

Meanwhile, Faith is still struggling with her withdrawal symptoms.

She grows frustrated when she receives verbal abuse from a young patient and refuses to treat her any longer.

Elsewhere Rida is impressed when she witnesses the sensitive way Max deals with a young lad who is struggling to tell his dad about his sexuality.

Rida tells Jodie that Max does actually have a soft side and that it wouldn’t hurt to give him a chance.

Teddy tells Sah that he has arranged a date with Paige, but is surprised to hear that Teddy’s mum is joining for the date.

Casualty airs on Saturday nights on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
