Channel 4 has made the decision to cancel the beloved competition series Lego Masters for the second time. The show was initially revived for a celebrity Christmas special last year, but it seems that it won't be making a comeback.
Celebrity Edition Revived for Christmas Special
Last year, E4 aired a new UK-based episode of Lego Masters for the first time in three years. The show put celebrities to the test in an extra special festive episode. Comedian Nish Kumar hosted the celebrity special, with pop star Sophie Ellis-Bextor and her two sons competing against the Moffatt family from Gogglebox, led by reality star daughter Scarlett. Taskmaster stars Alex Horne and Sophie Duker completed the celeb line-up.

Despite the positive reception of the Christmas special, it seems that Lego Masters will not be returning. TVZone reports that the broadcaster has decided to axe the show once again.
A Brief History of Lego Masters
E4 originally launched Lego Masters in 2017 with Melvin Odoom as the host. The show ran for two series and garnered good ratings. However, it then seemed to go on hiatus. Since then, Channel 4 has opted to air international editions of the show, with Lego Masters USA becoming one of the channel's highest rated programmes.
