Rob Delaney would rather ‘starve to death’ than make a fifth instalment of Catastrophe

The US actor, who co-wrote and starred alongside Sharon Horgan in the parenting comedy, says he would rather “starve to death” than make a fifth instalment.

He says: “We stopped doing it as we had done four series we were proud of and could smell that we were in danger of repeating ourselves and, frankly, we said a lot about marriage and parenting in there.

“Maybe Sharon might have ideas.

“I totally don’t.”

Speaking to the Dish podcast, out today, he added: “If we did another one, I think it might be bad, or worse, a cash grab.

“I would rather starve to death.”
