Corrie stars have started to film draamtic court scenes as Justine is set to face justice

The Rovers barmaid portrayed by Charlotte Jordan became the target of a terrifying campaign when Justin (former Hollyoaks star Andrew Still) became infatuated with her.

After trying to fight back by filing a Stalking Protection Order, Daisy took matters into her own hands and managed to get Justin arrested.

But his revenge was vitriolic, quite literally as he resurfaced in the cobbles on Daisy’s wedding day.

In scenes aired on ITV, Justin showed up at the Rovers Return Inn while Daisy was getting ready to tie the knot with Daniel Osbourne – and he didn’t come empty-handed.

Justin threw a glass of acid at Daisy with the intent of ruining her life but Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) was hit instead as he saved the bride.

The villain was then arrested as Ryan’s fate was left in the hands of paramedics who took him to hospital.

This won’t be the last we see of Justin.

Soap bosses have confirmed Andrew Still will be coming back to Weatherfield after his arrest as his on-screen alter ego is due to face justice for a dramatic court case.

Ryan Connor’s injuries will also be revealed and they’re set to be life-changing.

Recent snaps have shown stars of the Manchester-based program arrive at court.

These obviously include Charlotte Jordan, Andrew Still and Ryan Prescott as well as Daniel Osbourne actor Rob Mallard, Sally Ann Matthews who plays Daisy’s stepmother Jenny Connor and Alison King aka Carla Connor.

In the shots, which follow a series of behind-the-scenes photos, Ryan Prescott can be seen with half of his face bearing scars sustained from acid burns.

These scenes will reportedly be aired during the month of May, meaning fans have several weeks to prepare for the explosive court drama.

But what will the outcome of Justin’s trial be?

Will it really be the end of Daisy’s stalking ordeal?

How will Ryan cope in the aftermath of the attack?

Prior to Justin targeting Daisy, Ryan was planning on leaving Weatherfield for a huge opportunity in Ibiza.

He was ready to leave everything behind, including ongoing love interest Alya Nazir, for a DJ career abroad but due to the attack, his plans have been put on hold.

Could he be in for an intense struggle?

Coronation Street airs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm on ITV.
