What Happened?
Popular ITV presenter Stephen Mulhern has stepped back from hosting duties on an ITV show after the recent passing of his father, Christopher. The 47-year-old host, known for his roles on Deal or No Deal, Dancing on Ice, and Catchphrase, has been replaced by Coronation Street legend Sally Lindsay on The Big Soap Quiz.
Stephen's Health Scare
Stephen Mulhern's absence from the show follows a health scare when he collapsed during a solo meal at a Pizza Express. It is believed that he had a reaction to an anaesthetic given earlier in the day for a procedure. After being checked by paramedics, he was taken to a hospital as a precaution.
The Big Soap Quiz
The Big Soap Quiz, where cast members from Coronation Street and Emmerdale compete, has yet to confirm team captains and members for the upcoming 2024 edition. Typically, the quiz features Corrie's Jack P. Shepherd and Emmerdale's Mark Charnock as team leaders.
