CORONATION Street’s Craig Tinker will make a bold gesture to a shocked Faye Windass.
The character – played by Colson Smith – was delighted when Faye (Ellie Leach) was released from prison on bail and returned to Weatherfield earlier this year.
While Faye took a while to adjust to being back on the Cobbles, Craig has been keen to make plans for their future.
In upcoming episodes, Craig is eager to move in with Faye, and soon revealed to his shocked girlfriend that he’s arranged for them to rent a room in the salon flat with Tyrone and Emma.
Faye does her best to hide her unease, but when Emma heads home to find Craig and Faye on the doorstep with their bags, she’s not happy to discover they’re moving in.
This is because as Faye drove a still tipsy Emma back from their New Year’s Eve party, they knocked over Ted, an old man carrying his shopping.
The girls were relieved when he opened his eyes and stated he was fine, before inviting them into his flat for a brew.
However, Emma was shaken when back on the street, Imran spotted she was worse for wear and she shouldn’t be in charge of a learner whilst under the influence and if they had an accident she would be in trouble.
Emma and Faye decided to return to the flat to check up on Ted and apologise, before making a pact not to keep the accident a secret.
Back in April, Faye was sentenced to three years in prison for attacking Adam Barlow, having mistaken him for Ray Crosby.
She attacked him and left him for dead, but soon confessed to the crime, knowing she would face time in prison.
However, she was released a few weeks ago but took a while to adjust back to life on the Cobbles.
These episodes will air week beginning January 3, 2022 on ITV.
