IMRAN Habeeb realises his scheming has gone too far after lying to stop Abi from getting Alfie.
But the solicitor and his wife Toyah get in a horrific car crash in Coronation Street, and her life hangs in the balance.
A little manipulation can go a long way in the cobbles and Imran Habeeb (portrayed by Charlie De Melo) isn’t one to prove the contrary.
In recent episodes, the solicitor bribed private investigator Ben to lie about Abi Webster (Sally Carman) and her relapse intro drugs to prevent her from getting custody of their son Alfie.
However, wayward teen Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) is on to her former foster father after paying Abi’s legal fees and calls him out for his bad behaviour.
With a mirror held to his attitude, Imran realises he’s destroying Abi and is unable to bear the guilt.

Imran’s honourable nature finally seeps through as he makes the decision to come clean about his tactics to both the court and his wife Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor).
He leaves a chilling message for his other half in which he reveals everything he has done.
Unfortunately, and as teased by flash-forward scenes, the couple are in for a nasty and quite literal shock.
While Imran and Toyah take the wheel, the pair get into a car crash which leaves both of them lying unconscious in the wreckage.
Things don’t look good for either of them but Toyah is the one to seemingly suffer the most damage.
Imran comes to and pulls his wife from the vehicle, begging her not to die as the ambulance arrives at the crash scene.
But will she make it?
