A Talented Performer

Fans of Coronation Street will recognize Claire for her role as Cassandra 'Cassie' Plummer, the long-lost mother of Tyrone Dobbs.
From the Cobbles to the Ice
Claire's acting career spans several popular TV shows. She made her mark on Brookside in 1989, and later appeared on Celebrity Big Brother, finishing in second place. She also played a memorable role as a 'no-nonsense' ground crew worker in Benidorm.
Brookside Fame
Claire's most notable role remains that of Lindsay Corkhill in the hit series Brookside, which she portrayed for ten years. After leaving the show, she worked as a singer on P&O cruise ships before returning to the UK. Claire reprised her role on Brookside until the show's cancellation in 2003.
Other TV Appearances
Alongside her Corrie gig, Claire made appearances on shows like Loose Women, where she was a regular from 2003 until 2005. She also competed on Strictly Come Dancing, finishing in fifth place in the first series.
