SALLY Dynevor – better known as Coronation Street’s Sally Webster – had better brace herself for daughter Phoebe’s portrayal of innocent girl Daphne in Netflix’s saucy new Regency romp Bridgerton.
In one scene she is told how to pleasure herself by her hunky new boyfriend Simon, played by Rege-Jean Page.
Viewers see her put his words into practice as she writhes on a bed while thinking about her fella.
It’s just one of several saucy moments featuring Phoebe and the rest of the cast, which also includes Ben Miller and Jonathan Bailey.
Phoebe said: “It’s not often you see sex treated in that way. It wasn’t gratuitous.
“It was so essential in Daphne’s journey and sexual awakening.
“I love the fact it is very much the female gaze.”
I wonder if our Sally will love it when Bridgerton launches on Christmas Day.
