Coronation Street actress Charlotte Jordan turned heads at the National Television Awards with her glamorous outfit.
A show-stopping gown
Charlotte, who plays Daisy Midgeley on the popular soap, looked almost unrecognisable as she stepped out in a stunning, see-through dress. The gown was adorned with sequin poppies and featured a transparent skirt that flowed all the way to the floor. She completed the sparkling look with nude platform heels and wore her long locks flowing past her shoulders.
From Netflix to the cobbles
Before joining Coronation Street in 2020, Charlotte featured in the Netflix drama series Free Rein in 2018, where she portrayed the character Gaby Grant. She also co-wrote and produced a short film titled Tracks in 2019, showcasing her talents beyond acting.
A sneak peek behind-the-scenes
Daisy recently shared a behind-the-scenes snapshot on social media, showing her real-life boyfriend Paul alongside her on-screen partner Robert Mallard, who plays Daniel Osbourne. In the picture, Paul can be seen rehearsing lines with Robert, providing support to his girlfriend in her acting career.
A cameo appearance
Although Paul is not an actor, he made a cameo appearance on Coronation Street in 2020. Due to COVID-19 restrictions and the need for social distancing, he stepped in during a scene to support the cast. Charlotte revealed that Paul was thrilled to be on set, as he had grown up watching the iconic soap.
