DAN Walker was missing from 5News this evening after his horrific accident.
The TV star shared pictures of his “mess” of a face this morning admitting he was “glad to be alive”.

The dad-of-three escaped seemingly without major injuries.
However, he was left unable to present this evening’s news bulletin for Channel 5.
Instead 5News reporter Tessa Chapman stood in and brought viewers the latest news – including the latest on missing woman Nicola Bulley.
“Good evening welcome to 5 News with me Tessa Chapman,” the presenter said.
Fans have rushed to wish Dan a speedy recovery, with one saying: “Aw Dan. Sorry to hear this. Glad you’re in one piece and are going to be ok and in good hands. Speedy recovery.”
A second said: “Oh Dan!! Oh my goodness! Hope you are okay!! This looks so bad so can’t believe you still see the funny side. Rest up lovely and just be looked after!”
“Gosh! Glad you’re ok, what a shock that must’ve been. Hope you feel better soon,” said a third.
While a fourth commented: “So glad you are OK Dan, what a shock. Rest up and feel better soon.”
Dan’s agent told The Times earlier today: “Walker is now in hospital recovering.
“It is understood the accident took place when the TV presenter was cycling from his home in Sheffield to the train station, where he was going to the Channel 5 studios in London.”
