Dancing on Ice bosses sign up Oti Mabuse for a second series after she impressed fans

OTI Mabuse is ‘set to return’ to Dancing on Ice for a second season after impressing bosses with her ‘positive energy and warmth.’

The Strictly star has already become a ‘fan favourite’ after just a couple of shows taking over from sacked John Barrowman.



Oti has been signed up for a second series on Dancing On Ice

A source told The Celeb Report: “Oti has been asked to return for next year.

“She has been a huge hit.

“Oti is already very much part of the Dancing on Ice family –  she fits in so well.
She is full of good vibes and just makes everyone laugh. she is so infectious.
She’s here to stay hopefully!”

It comes as rumours swirl that Oti may be “too busy” to return to Strictly.

A source said: “It is not yet known if Oti will return to Strictly. She loves the strictly fam, that goes without saying. 

“Oti is so busy though with her TV shows, dance classes that are a hit with fans, there is so much going on right now, so we will see.”

The Celeb Report recently revealed Oti has been getting presenting advice from Dermot O’Leary in a bid to become a top TV host.

Dermot, 48, has been giving Oti tips as she prepares for her first big hosting job on ITV dating and talent contest Romeo and Duet.

A TV source said: “Oti and Dermot have struck up a great friendship.

“He’s always keen to help out aspiring presenters and has been given Oti some vital pointers. All of which have been greatly received.

“It’s given her the perfect boost ahead of her debut hosting gig.”
