Dancing On Ice star Amber Davies suffers nasty fall and injury

DANCING On Ice star Amber Davies has suffered a huge fall and a nasty injury. The former Love Island star is fighting for a place in the final as she once again prepares to take to the ice this weekend on ITV.

Behind the scenes snapshot

Amber, 27, took to social media to give her fans an update on her training. However, it seems that not all went to plan as the actress opened up on the nasty accident she suffered. She took to her story with a behind the scenes snapshot of her wrapped up leg, resting in a comfy UGG slipper.

Back on the ice

Taking a picture of what looks like an ice-bag by her leg, she captioned the photo: "Nice fall this afternoon!" Noticing the swelling added: "The lump," along with a loudly crying emoji. But it seems the Dancing On Ice star is all about the fast recoveries as she later posted a video of her back on the ice in full force.

Competition heats up

Amber has made it to the final five of the Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern fronted ice dancing competition. She still needs to face off the likes of Radio personality Adele Roberts and Made In Chelsea star Miles Nazaire. This is also alongside stiff competition from the likes of former Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas and Olympic long-jumper Greg Rutherford.

Last week, although Amber received a respectable score of 38 from the judges she landed in the bottom two and was forced to skate off. She eliminated Olympic ski jumper Eddie the Eagle in her second consecutive head-to-head dance. She has consistently impressed the judges with high scores.
