EMMERDALE’S Joe Warren Plant has taking the first official fall of the new series of Dancing on Ice.
Joe made an impressive debut alongside his professional partner Vanessa Bauer.
But about midway through performance he knocked his own skates and took a tumble.
He immediately laughed, and both performers saw the funny side of what happened.
Holly asked him what happened: “I couldn’t tell you, I literally thought I was doing everything perfectly and I then I just ended up on the floor.”
“I don’t know what happened.”
Vanessa then joked: “It was his first fall of the day as well! We say that he always has to have a fall at some point.”
People at home loved Joe’s seeing the funny side of what happened.
“Joe did amazing getting up,” wrote one Twitter user.
Another added: “I thought Joe did well…. even with the fall. So glad he managed to laugh it off bless him!”
And a third said: “Joe did not too bad even with that slip and fall he got up and carried on.”
Regardless of the mishap, the judges heaped Joe with praise.
Figure skating legend Jane Torvill said he “would go very far” in the competition and it was clear he was very relaxed on the ice.
Diversity’s Ashley Banjo docked him a full point for the fall, but John Barrowman only docked him half a point.
John loved Joe’s performance and said he was one to watch on the show.
It’s been a big week for Joe after his ex girlfriend hinted they might be back on.
Nicole Hadlow hinted they may have rekindled their romance, according to a cryptic message.
The Emmerdale star, 18, recently split with Nicole after his DOI training put pressure on their relationship.
In the wake of their break-up, the pair notably removed all trace of each other on their social media pages.
However, they have since become pals online again and Nicole has now sparked whispers of a reunion.
Taking to Instagram, Nicole shared a cryptic message about ‘forgiveness’ with her 17,000 followers.
“We don’t know what tomorrow will bring. So don’t stay mad for too long.”
“Learn to forgive and love with all your heart.”
The message finished: “Don’t worry about the people who don’t like you. Enjoy the ones who love you.”
