Viewers watched as Lola tragically died of an incurable brain tumour in heartbreaking scenes.

But now Danielle is back filming with her co-stars – albeit for a celebrity special of The Weakest Link.

She could be seen with Kellie Bright, who plays Linda Carter, Karen Taylor star Lorraine Stanley, and Tony Clay, who stars as Callum Highway.

Also on set was Ross Boatman, Delroy Atkinson and Brian Conley.

Holding the camera, Kellie Bright told fans: “Here I am, about to film the Weakest Link.

“We’re at the BBC Studios up in sunny Glasgow – look, there’s the gang! There’s the gang!”

EastEnders fans have been left delighted – with them all asking when they can catch the episode on television.

One said: “Brilliant. Let us know when it’s due to air please.”

A second wrote: “Fantastic. Do you know when it is likely to air?”

“Kellie and Danielle are going to be the last two in this one,” said a third.

While a fourth commented: “I bet it’s an EastEnders episode.”

The Weakest Link’s reboot is now hosted by Roman Ranganathan, who replaced Anne Robinson.

The much-loved format sees them answering general knowledge questions as a team before only two remain.

They then go on to play head to head to determine the winner.
