DENISE Fox is scared her marriage with Jack Branning is slowly going down the drain.
And a neighbour’s flirty behaviour could make things worse for the couple in upcoming EastEnders scenes.
Denise Fox could embark on an affair
She tries to bring back the spark in her marriage
But she ends up catching the eye of a neighbour
The married pair have gone through their fair share of obstacles in recent months.
This has been mostly due to Jack’s daughter Amy going through her own mental health crisis.
The teen was once even rushed to hospital after self-harming, which has caused the police officer played by Scott Maslen severe distress.
Understandably, all this has left an impact on his marriage with the hair salon owner (Diane Parish).
Coming up on BBC One, Denise is desperate to put the spark back into her marriage.
In an attempt to seduce Jack, she gets a makeover from Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) on the latter’s first day back.
As viewers may remember, Lola decided to get to work despite her brain tumour diagnosis.
Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) later spots Denise when she books a table for two at Walford East and is impressed by her new appearance.
Denise welcomes Jack home and he suggests they make the most of a kid-free house… but not everything goes according to plan.
Jack tries to make it up to Denise the following day by offering to take her out.
However, another mishap interrupts their romantic day.
Amy invites Denzel Danes to the empty house but she’s furious to see him show up with Nugget Gulati.
To make matters worse, Nugget swiped a bottle of vodka from Suki Panesar’s shop.
Nugget’s father Ravi is humiliated when Suki and Nish confront him about the theft and he heads to No.27.
When he arrives, the boys are drunk, and Ricky Junior is throwing up.
Ravi lays down the law and is cleaning things up when Jack and Denise arrive.
A livid Jack lashes out at everyone, even Denise.
Ravi escapes to pay the Panesars back, and Denise shows up to thank him.
Denise’s praise of Ravi immediately silences critical Nish and Suki.
In later scenes, Ravi is thankful for Denise having his back, and they bond over the perils of parenting.
Denzel bunks off with Amy so he can talk to her and he begs her to get help.
When the adults hear they’ve skipped school, there’s a row which ends with Amy accusing Denise of not caring about her.
Jack only makes matters worse by letting his anguish get the best of him as he snaps at his wife again.
Unable to catch a break from all the hostility, Denise is furious and heads to Peggy’s alone.
Ravi spots her drowning her sorrows and lends her a shoulder to cry on.
But after a flirty evening, things take a turn when Ravi goes in for a kiss.
What will Denise do?
