EASTENDERS fans are in shock after two major bombshells were dropped on Christmas Day.
The BBC soap revealed a paternity twist and exposed a murderer in the special length episode.
Dotty Cotton was the first to light the fuse by exposing Rocky as Tom Cotton – but there was a bigger twist in store for her.
After discovering Rocky had lied about knowing where her mum was – Dotty was in no mood to share a Christmas pudding with him.
As they sat around Kathy’s table with the Beales, Rocky made a joke about Sandy enjoying herself at Christmas – and it set Dotty off.
“The nerve of you sitting there going on about family,” she said.
“I’ve spent weeks thinking my mum was dead and you knew where she was the whole time. I was in pieces and you still just kept lying to me. You found her in the middle of an overdose and you just walked away.”
As everyone questioned why Dotty was laying into Rocky, she decided to make it clear and outed him as a liar.
“I ain’t going anywhere, “ said Dotty adding ominously: “Tom.”
“Yeah that’s his name. I’m sick of all the lies and I won’t be part of it anymore.
“This whole thing has been a scam. His name is Tom Cotton and he ain’t your dad.”
As the truth came out, Sonia was utterly devastated to have her dad ripped away from her.
He chased her over the Square to try and make Sonia accept him as her dad – but she was disgusted at him.
“I never want to see you again,” she said, leaving him sobbing in the Square.

And when Rocky went to beg to speak to Kathy he was kicked out and told where to go.
And Dotty had made a rod for her own back too – but her mum Sandy dropped a major bombshell on her before leaving for good.
“Of course this Rocky isn’t Sonia’s dad – he’s yours,” said Sandy leaving Dotty devastated.
Meanwhile after that bombshell, serial killer Gray Atkins has finally been exposed as a murderer.
Whitney tried to stop Chelsea from marrying Gray by telling her about what Chantelle went through.
“He’s dangerous,” she said.
“You’re in danger. Chelsea please, I love you, don’t marry him. I don’t want you to end up like Chantelle.
“I think he killed her. I cannot let you marry him without knowing the truth. He’s a lawyer, he knows how to cover his tracks, he knows how to get away with it.”
However after Whitney told Chelsea everything – it was for nothing as Gray arrived.

He managed to talk Chelsea around, and they got married – and Whitney was left humiliated at the reception as Denise exposed her for trying to seduce Gray on his wedding day.
In a final attempt to save Chelsea, Whitney sent her all of Chantelle’s heartbroken posts about Gray’s abuse.
And it worked. After making her excuses, she ran outside and told Kheerat and Whitney that she believed them.
“You have to help me, I have to get away, I married a murderer,” she said leaving fans in shock.
