Karen Taylor’s neighbours want to help her get a job and finally resolve her money woes on tonight’s EastEnders.
Following Karen’s very public outcry in the Square last night, her neighbours in Albert Square have decided to take action.
She previously said: “Give me a job in your salon – a few shifts sweeping the floor. You knew I was out of work, that money was tight. I want to earn, I don’t want to ponce.”
She was arrested in last night’s episode for smashing up her previous workplace, the launderette, with a sledgehammer.
She shouted: “That’s it, lock me up, shut me up, pretend I don’t exist.
“I just want my little girl back. I just want my baby.”
Will Karen be released from police custody?
Her stepdaughter, Bailey Baker, has been missing since she overheard her family’s money issues and left home last week.
Will Karen’s actions affect her missing persons case for Bailey?
In tonight’s episode, Denise, Sheree and Rainie realise they need to support Karen better so do their best to convince Apostolos to hire Karen again.
Apostolos, who owns the launderette, sacked Karen and then had a misunderstanding with her assuming he had sacked her so he could force her to sleep with him when he came to her with money to help.
Will they be able to convince the businessman to give Karen a second chance?
Eastenders airs tonight on BBC1 at 8pm.
