Emmerdale are yet to confirm the details surrounding Lydia’s arrest.
But next week, Kim tells Cain she’d like to check on Lydia, who’s still upset about all the rumours circulating about her.
It all kicks off as Cain immediately grows suspicious of Kim’s motives.
Emmerdale viewers know that Kim is being poisoned by a mystery culprit – and that Lydia has been offering Kim a shoulder to cry on as she’s grown convinced she’s suffering from dementia.
Fans are convinced the assailant is Gabby Thomas – who’s been growing uneasy about Kim’s hold over her baby – after a mystery hand was seen tipping poison into her brandy last month.
Other suspects include Kim’s son Jamie and her ex Will Taylor.
Elsewhere next week, Jimmy King makes a shock decision after being charged with death by driving following Paul Ashdale’s death.
Mandy tells Jimmy that he needs to prioritise Carl when considering his plea, and Jimmy agrees, later making a call to Juliette.
The following day, Nicola is stunned to realise Jimmy has invited Juliette over for a chat and can’t believe it when he opens up to her about Carl’s silence.
Jimmy suggests she take him out for the day to see if she can get him to open up.
Jimmy then breaks the news to Nicola that he’s going to plead guilty to his charge.
Nicola despairs at the prospect of Jimmy pleading guilty, but he refuses to talk to her about it anymore.
