RETURNING EastEnders villain Janine Butcher goes to war with Kat Slater over custody of Scarlett.
Kat Slater will tell her son Tommy that Alfie isn’t his real dad, his Uncle Michael is – making Tommy and Scarlett siblings.
Although shocked, this only makes Tommy more determined that they need to look after Scarlett.
Later, Kat arrives to the courthouse and informs the social worker that she wants to become Scarlett’s carer, it’s for the best that Scarlett never sees her real Mum again.
Kat’s about to tell Scarlett the truth about Tommy when Janine bursts in.
The hearing starts and Janine lays it on thick, giving a testimony about how she’s redeemed herself over the years.
Later, Janine rocks up to The Vic, bold as brass and wastes no time in telling the locals what she thinks of them all.
Kat is more determined than ever to get Scarlett away from her reckless mother.
Meanwhile, Phil and Kat are frosty, he’s not keen on her getting involved with Scarlett.
Billy tries to stick up for Janine much to Kat’s annoyance.
Later, Janine tries to appeal to Kat, pleading for a second chance with Scarlett.
Whilst Kat tells Phil about Janine’s lies, the social worker calls – Scarlett’s gone missing.
Kat is sure that Janine has taken Scarlett and Billy desperately tries to reach her.
Lola realises Tommy is upset and Kat promises that they’ll find his sister.

Billy gets a text from Janine, they meet and she says goodbye, she’s given up hope on Scarlett so wants to get out of Walford.
Billy is thrown and tells her that Scarlett is missing, it’s clear that Janine had no idea.
Janine and Kat try to work out where Scarlett might be and Janine has an idea, she sends Kat off to the other side of London as she heads to Phil’s.
Tommy and Scarlett are upstairs, he’s been hiding her and they hear the commotion from Phil and Shirley.
Tommy wants to call for help but Janine has other ideas.
She scuffles with the kids and they don’t notice Scarlett’s jumper landing on the lit hob from Phil’s cooking earlier, the flames start to rise.
