In upcoming scenes of the BBC One soap, the latter reveals to her daughter she called in sick from her community payback in order to go on a date with Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman).

A concerned Stacey opens up to her wife Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) and Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) but both come to the conclusion she’s overreacting.

While Jean and Harvey are still giddy from their day out together and head back to the cabbie’s home, Stacey decides to check in and is shocked to find her mother, wearing next to nothing.

An argument ensues, with Stacey urging Jean to go home while she firmly refuses.

This only appears to confirm Stacey’s worries regarding her mother’s supposedly erratic behaviour.

On the other hand, this could be a new beginning for Jean and Harvey.

While romance was brewing between the two for several months already, any hopes for a relationship were put to the side as Harvey’s concerns about his son Aaron grew.

The pair did have a date which went downhill after Aaron had spiked his father.

Since then, Harvey has decided to turn his own son in to the authorities for his involvement with a far-right gang, which terrorised Walford for months.

Although he had made the decision to never speak to Aaron again, leaving him behind bars with no support from the outside world, Jean attempted to shake some sense into him… which eventually led to them getting closer after some time apart.

But will Stacey agree with the relationship?

Or will she try to tame her mother’s seemingly wild behaviour?
