Who Will Meet Their End?
EastEnders fans are in for a shocking Christmas as a "big name" will be killed off in an explosive episode, according to star Brian Conley. The actor, who plays Rocky Cotton on the BBC soap, teased that the upcoming special will "blow fans away" and leave them speechless.
The Clues
Viewers were already given a teaser of the upcoming plot back in February with a spine-chilling flashforward scene. In an exclusive interview with The Celeb Report, Conley revealed that the only clue to the identity of the murder victim is a pair of cufflinks. He also hinted that the character who meets their end has been on the show for a long time, saying, "It has to be someone with weight, you can't have someone that's only been there a week."
Brian Conley's Fate
While Conley hopes that his character, Rocky, won't be the one to bite the dust, he did confirm that he plans to stay on EastEnders for a while longer. The actor recently tied the knot with Kathy Beale, played by soap favourite Gillian Taylforth, and expressed his happiness with the show. "I'm very happy where I am at the moment and doing four shows a week is quite enough," Conley said.
Praise for Co-Stars
Conley also took the time to praise his fellow co-stars, including soap legends Adam Woodyatt, Steve McFadden, and Perry Fenwick. He described Woodyatt as a "legend" and spoke highly of McFadden and Fenwick as well. He also expressed his sadness at the departure of actress Lorraine Stanley, calling her "lovely."
A Mystery Unraveled at Christmas
With the revelation of the death set to occur at Christmas, EastEnders fans are eagerly awaiting the explosive episode. The flashforward scene showed six of Albert Square's beloved ladies, including soap legend Sharon Watts, crouched over the body of an unknown man at The Queen Vic. The only clue to his identity is the cufflinks he wears. As fans speculate on who will meet their end, the anticipation grows for the big reveal.
