The Sonia Fowler actress is known for her trademark darker style

EastEnders star Natalie looked stunning in the snap which was worlds away from her iconic character Sonia Fowler.

She wrote: “To everyone who’s said nice things about my barnet, thank you – but I’m changing it back today.

“I’m pleased I tried going lighter but I just don’t feel like me! My poor hairdresser!”

Natalie recently sent fans wild as she glammed up for a day out with fiancé Marc Humphreys, opting for an oversized white suit with green floral detailing.

It’s been a big year already for Natalie, who is mum to Joanie, six, and Eliza, 12.

Her character Sonia, a role Natalie has held since 1993, is currently exploring having a child with boyfriend Reiss via IVF, but secrets from his past threaten more heartbreak for the unlucky-in-love Walford resident.

And in May Natalie celebrated her milestone 40th birthday with a bash attended by almost the entire EastEnders cast.

She beamed as she posed for snaps with pals including Lorraine Stanley, who plays Karen Taylor, Jay Brown actor Jamie Borthwick, and her former on-screen brother and I’m a Celeb star Dean Gaffney.

Also in attendance were Jessie Wallace, who plays Kat Slater, Stacey Slater star Lacey Turner, Max Bowden, who stars as Ben Mitchell and Callum Highway actor Tony Clay.

Danielle Harold, who played Lola Pearce, and Zack Hudson star James Farrar made sure not to miss the bash.

As well as Scott Maslen, best known as Jack Branning, Kim Fox actress Tameka Empson, Whitney Dean star Shona McGarty and Emma Barton, who plays Honey Mitchell.
