Emma Willis admits her worry that husband Matt will relapse during Busted’s upcoming UK tour

EMMA Willis has admitted her concern about husband Matt’s drug and alcohol addiction during Busted’s upcoming reunion tour.

The couple got candid about Matt’s addiction woes during his one-off BBC One documentary Fighting Addiction.

Former Big Brother host Emma, 47, admitted she was fearful about Busted’s forthcoming tour as Matt, 40, was always at his worst when on the road with the band.

During the hard-hitting documentary, the pair discussed how Matt last relapsed during the band’s 2016 tour, sparking concern that it could happen once again this September.

Speaking to the camera, an emotional Emma said: “Matt’s always had issues but they seem to really kick in when he’s on tour.”

She added: “I know he doesn’t wanna be that person but is his brain going to trick him and go, ‘just one more time, no one will know’.

“That’s the worry.”

Matt revealed that he was using up to six grams of cocaine a day during the band’s last tour, having previously battled with both the illicit substance as well as alcohol.

Elsewhere in the documentary, Emma was left in tears as she admitted her worry over whether Matt would die from his addictions as well as heartbreakingly revealing that she kept a daily diary to monitor everything Matt had consumed.

During one of the days, it could be seen that Emma wrote that Matt was “totally p***ed”.

The star said: “The only thing I could think of to keep track, was to keep a diary.

“I don’t think I’ve ever read it since I wrote it.

“It’s literally just notes of… what I knew he had consumed.

“A bottle of champagne, a couple of wines, a couple of wines… another bottle of champagne, and more.”

Emma went on: “And more, is a reference to… um, drugs.”
