Emmerdale fans think that Kim Tate and MacKenzie Boyd will get it on after their flirty exchange last night

At the end of last night’s first instalment of the popular ITV soap, Kim caught Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) trying to hide DI Malone’s dead body in the woods.

The former drug dealer got a fright when Mackenzie shot fire and decided to flee the crime scene, where he then bumped into Kim.

Kim got the wrong end of the stick and thought that he was coming to try and hurt her son Jamie because of what went on in the past between them.

As she returned back to Home Farm she found Mac helping himself to her alcohol cupboard and making himself some fancy cocktails.

MacKenzie didn’t shy away from flirting with the Home Farm owner

Mac tried to win her over with his charm as he introduced himself and said: “You look so much younger in real life.”

Kim played her cards quite close to her chest, but fans think that the two will definitely get it on at some point in the future.

One wrote: “Be careful Mac. Kim is approaching #Emmerdale.”

Another wrote: “@emmerdale#Emmerdale My Prediction for next year: MacKenzie is going to hook up with Kim, he’ll cheat on her with Andrea. Jamie will find out eventually and he’ll plot revenge along with Kim on both Mac/Andrea.”

A third chimed in: “Kim & Mac gonna end up in bed then. #emmerdale.”

The prediction comes after actress Claire hinted at a future romance for the baddie.

She recently told The Mirror that the upcoming Christmas scenes may involve her getting down and dirty with a mystery man.

She told the publication: “There might be a little love interest coming along.

“I can’t say who with, but there aren’t many men left in the village that she hasn’t dated, so you can probably narrow it down…”

Kim has been off our screens for quite some time due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The soap star, who suffers from rheumatoid arthritis and compromised immune system, was told to isolate for the first half of the year to make sure she didn’t contract the deadly bug.

While most of the cast returned to filming in June, Claire, who has played the Home Farm owner for 30 years, only got back into the swing of things again in October.
