But Gabby takes things too far
Dawn’s son Lucas soon has hurtful questions to ask her
As ITV viewers know, the fan favourite character portrayed by Olivia Bromley has had a past with drugs and prostitution.
In recent years, however, she’s made sure to get her life together for her son Lucas and even tied the knot with Billy Fletcher.
Dawn also became close to her father Will Taylor and developed a bond with his wife, businesswoman Kim Tate.
Yet in upcoming scenes of the Yorkshire-based program, Dawn argues with Gabby Thomas (played by Rosie Bentham).
The pair quarrel about their priorities but Gabby takes things too far by calling Dawn a “prostitute.”
To make matters worse, Gabby calls Dawn out in front of her son Lucas, Clemmie and Will.
Dawn is later horrified by Lucas’ question and rushes out on the verge of tears.
Will she have to face her past once again to explain everything to her young son?
Prior to her argument with Dawn, Gabby tries her best to get her own life on track.
In recent scenes, local businesswoman Kim decided to take her under her wing after Dawn moved on to another job opportunity.
When her career seems to be off to a great start, Gabby then turns all her attention to male nanny Nicky.
The hunk was hired to take care of Gabby and Dawn’s children and made quite the impression on the former.
Gabby invites him to share a bottle of fizz with her to celebrate her budding business career.
But the alcohol soon gives her the confidence to make a move on Nicky and she tries to kiss him.
Sadly for her, he pushes her away and tells her he doesn’t see a romantic future with her.
To top it all off, Dawn witnesses the encounter and Gabby is left humiliated.
As a result, she grows increasingly jealous of Dawn who is living a peaceful life with a loving husband.
Is this the beginning of a feud between Gabby and Dawn?
Tune in to ITV to find out as Emmerdale continues to air weeknights from 7.30pm.
