NOAH Dingle’s family is on edge as he faces justice for stalking and almost assaulting former girlfriend Chloe Harris.
But when the drama overshadows her birthday celebrations, Sarah Sugden threatens to leave Emmerdale altogether.
Charity Dingle is terrified to lose her son Noah Dingle (portrayed by Jack Downham) as a stint behind bars remains possible for him after he terrorised Chloe Harris for weeks on end.
However, while her son is busy getting on the wrong side of the law, the Woolpack landlady could also be dealt with the devastating exit of her biological granddaughter, Sarah Sugden (played by Katie Hill).
With his future on the line, Noah gets all the attention which results in Sarah feeling neglected – and threatening to leave the titular village.
Sarah’s sadness is only amplified when Noah court turmoil drives everyone away from her birthday.

Despite her link with Noah, Chloe tries her best to lift her spirits and throws her a small party to celebrate.
But Charity’s presence and her mood burst Sarah’s bubble.
The pub owner is awash with guilt as she reported Noah to the authorities and this prompts her to take a long, hard look at herself.
Charity quickly becomes certain that all the problems her family has had to face are just down to her.
Soon enough, Charity can’t stop herself from spiralling even further and hitting rock bottom, leaving Sarah to make a decision about her future.
Sarah has previously struggled with feeling unwanted as her mother Debbie left the Dales without her and, fed up with being pushed to the aside once again, she makes plans to follow in her mother’s footsteps by leaving the village.
