Emmerdale viewers watched Leyla get the wrong end of the stick recently when Bernice tried to return Liam’s engagement ring.
Leyla spied them from a distance and assumed Bernice was trying to propose.
Rushing over to them, Leyla slapped Bernice and warned her off her fiance.
But Bernice wasn’t fazed and later told Nicola and Diane she thinks there’s still hope for her and Liam.
Elsewhere next week, a tipsy Leanna makes a move on personal trainer Billy.
Leanna is dating Jacob but recently confided in Billy that he wasn’t paying her much attention.
