EMMERDALE’S Liv Flaherty continues to struggle with her overwhelming shame, guilt and despair as she reaches rock bottom.
Teenager Liv – played by Isobel Steele – will continue to self-sabatage as her alcoholism gets out of control.
Next week Jacob, Gabby and Liv struggle with their guilt over Leanna’s death.
When Gabby suggests a community memorial, they’re all on board.
Later, Liam becomes angry when he witnesses the start of the memorial.
As Leyla tries to calm him, he blames Liv and Jacob for what happened, whilst Meena relishes the drama.
Viewers have seen Liv take shots at her brother Aaron for trying to help her stop drinking.
But after hearing the truth that Faith was watering down her drinks, Liv hit a new low.
“You sent Faith to spy on me? To control me? You’re a liar. Stop pretending that you’re scared of me having a couple of drinks. I need something to forget that I’m here with you.
“When you’re in my face Aaron, I hate you. You’re just a control freak who can’t stand me having fun.
“You want everyone to be as miserable as you, don’t you? You wouldn’t want to be happy if you knew how to be – you just want to drag us all down because of what you’ve been through.”
Aaron looked devastated at Liv’s words with her using their father’s sexual abusing Aaron as a child against him.
He couldn’t speak – and she told him: “No shouty comeback? Great, it’s about time for a bit of peace and quiet.”
Can anyone get through to Liv?
