EMMERDALE’S Danny Miller has revealed he’s put his wedding on hold after his and fiancee Steph’s exciting baby news.
The 30-year-old star shared his dream of their child walking his partner down the aisle, which is why they have decided to put their plans on ice.
Danny popped the question in January during a holiday to St. Lucia, and the pair were planning to start IVF treatment the following month after trying for a baby for a year.
Steph discovered that she was pregnant in February, and said that it is “amazing” that their bundle of joy will be at their wedding.
She added: “That’s what Danny wanted, it makes it feel even more exciting.”
Danny continued to OK magazine: “I said we should delay it until they can walk because it would be amazing if they could be stood up with me or walk down the aisle with Steph.
“We’ve put it back because of the little one, we didn’t expect we would have a baby so soon.”
He went on: “We’ve always been a fan of getting married abroad and having the sun, sea, and sand with us and both our families.”
Danny proposed during a candlelit beach dinner on the penultimate day of the luxury trip.
The happy couple originally met in primary school and have been in a relationship for two years.
Danny, who plays Aaron Dingle in Emmerdale, also revealed he was filming the soap’s huge barn explosion storyline when Steph told him the pregnancy news.
He said at the time: “When I saw how many times she had rang me I had a feeling. I thought, either she’s pregnant or something serious is going on.”
