Emmerdale’s Kelvin Fletcher reveals wife Liz is pregnant with TWINS

KELVIN Fletcher has revealed his wife Liz is pregnant with twins.

The former Emmerdale actor, 38, shared the news on BBC Breakfast today – revealing they would soon be a family of six, with Kelvin joking: “We don’t do things by halves.”

Kelvin looked shocked when Liz announced they were having twins today

The couple are already parents of two

Kelvin has known Liz since he was nine years old, and they tied the knot in November of 2015.

Together they share a daughter, Marnie and son, Milo.

They appeared on the show today to talk about Kelvin Fletcher’s Big Farm Adventure and presenter Sally Nugent started the interview saying: “You were already quite busy, weren’t you, before you took on a farm, with two young children. And you have news to share with us this morning, which is…”

Liz replied: “We’re having another two more children!”

She joked that Kelvin still looked shocked by the news as he explained:

“We just recently found out, to add another curveball if you like. We don’t really do things by halves and then we found out we’re having not just one baby, but two!

“So we’re having twins. It was an absolute eye-opener. So come May, we’ll be delivering lambs for the first time. I’m not going to be delivering babies as such but it is going to be a really busy time!”

He added: “So yeah, we’ll have four children!”

Kelvin was a firm favourite on Emmerdale for 20 years playing Andy Sugden from 1996.

He won Strictly in 2019 with Oti Mabuse, but he’s had a career change since the pandemic.

Kelvin admitted that lockdown has done his family a world of good, with his non-stop schedule disrupted and forcing him to spend time at home after his busy stint on Strictly.

He said: “After an intense four or five months of regular family life being disrupted, to be at the other end of the spectrum, where I’m constantly at home, in a weird way, it couldn’t have come at a better time for me and Liz, and for the kids.”

Liz famously unfollowed Kelvin when he and his former professional partner Oti Mabuse were spotted enjoying a late night drink following a Strictly reunion.

But the couple are stronger than ever and will be on screen together with their new six-part documentary filmed on their farm which can be found in the Peak District.

Their 120-acre farm has an 18th-Century cottage, outbuildings, 20 sheep, three pigs and three alpacas.
