Luke Debono won't be returning for the 2025 special episode
A SECOND Married At First Sight UK groom will be missing from next year's reunion special. The MAFS UK cast are currently filming for the 2025 episode after coming back together following the dramatic series.
But The Celeb Report can exclusively reveal one person who won't be seen on the show is Luke Debono.
An insider told us: "Married At First Sight bosses are filming a special which will air next year that will reunite key cast members from this series, as well as memorable names from past series."
"Sadly, not everyone has got an invite and that includes one of this year's final grooms standing, Luke."
"Luke was gutted to not be asked because he was part of the four couples who lasted until final vows and so he’s taken it as a snub that he didn’t make the cut."
Dumped at final vow ceremony
He might have made it to the final vows with show bride Amy Kenyon but Luke was savagely dumped in the explosive episode.
Amy showed up to meet Luke at the ceremony dressed for a funeral rather than a vow renewal.
She told him: "I know my worth and you aren't worthy of me. This marriage is done, dead, deceased. I stand here in front of you today wearing black to mourn its death. RIP."
Ross McCarthy also won't be participating
Last month The Celeb Report revealed Ross McCarthy wouldn't be taking part in the special after splitting from bride Sacha Jones.
A source said: "He has been avoiding productions calls and won’t commit. Bosses aren’t giving up and will keep trying to persuade him, but as of right now he wants to move past the show and focus on his new relationship."
Someone close to the jilted bride previously shared her shock at the recent developments, telling MailOnline: "Sacha had an incredible experience filming Married At First Sight UK and she truly thought her marriage with Ross would work."
"She moved to Manchester to be with him but after just two weeks he went cold and ended their romance for good."
