LOVE Island’s Tanyel Revan is not prepared to let bygones be bygones after being told that fellow Islander Olivia Hawkins, was talking about her behind her back.
The 26 year old hair stylist from north London was recently dumped from the villa and has now only just realised through friends, that Olivia was being less than friendly about her.
Tanyel Revan thought Olivia Hawkins was her friend until now
Olivia was in a secret feud with Tanyel over love interest Kai Fagan
During an interview with BBC Radio’s 1Xtra, Tanyel said: “I haven’t watched it completely but my friends have shown me clips and stuff. I was disappointed.”
She added: “I am actually hurt about it because I really liked her in the beginning. I felt like she was one of my closest friends in there.”
This comes after Tanyel admitted that a secret feud was brewing between her and Olivia over Kai Fagan, who was a romantic interest of Tanyel – but jumped ship to be with Olivia.
The dumped star added: “I actually had a lot of love for her. I still have a lot of love for her. I’m more just like ‘why couldn’t you say it to my face?’ ‘Why have you got so much to say?'”
And she was fairly candid when she reflected on her time at the South African villa, during an interview on ITV2’s After Sun show, a spin off from Love Island.
During the show Tanyel revealed: “I wasn’t going to be selfish, I just thought, ‘I’d rather you be happy’. She was a good friend to me at the time, so I thought, ‘Do your thing’.”
However, when host Maya Jama questioned her further and claimed that Kai and Olivia were friends ” at the time”, Tanyel hit back and said: “We don’t know yet. I need to see it for myself, but I’ve heard a few things.”
Tanyel was left standing alone after new bombshell boy Jordan Odofin chose to couple up with Ellie Spence.
Love Island returns to ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm tonight.
