GINO D’Acampo has sparked fury on This Morning by claiming he doesn’t like French people.
The Italian chef, 46, appeared on the show to offer advice to viewers and make an Italian chicken cordon bleu.
Gino shocked viewers as he said he didn’t like French people
Phil and Holly questioned his comments
Despite it being known as French dish, Gino insisted it wasn’t and launched into a tirade about the country.
He said: “Not that I have to explain myself but this is called pollo impanato, which is stuff chicken breast. Now the French call it blah blah blah but it’s really pollo impanato.
“Plus everybody knows I will never cook a French dish. I don’t like to cook other nation’s food.
“I am going to be honest with you, apart from my friend Fred Sirieix, I don’t like French people.”

As Holly and Phil looked shocked, he added: “Too close to Italy, they always think everything they do is the greatest. There is no need for French people in the world.”
The hosts, who were giggling, quickly apologised for his comments and insisted his views are his own.
Those watching at home were very unimpressed with his comment and by Holly and Phil’s reaction.
One person raged: “I don’t usually watch day time telly crap but the remote fell off the bed and I was forced to watch #ThisMorning.
“I was horrified that Gino was allowed to say he doesn’t like French people, even more horrified that Holly & Philip laughed it off. Disgusting racists.”
Another person remarked: “Just imagine the outrage if Gino Decampo said, I don’t like Pakistani people, or I don’t like African people, he would (rightly) be branded a racist. But it’s absolutely OK to say I don’t like French people.”
While a further viewer added: “These two just make attention seeking Gino worse than what he is, why encourage him even more #ThisMorning.”
