Viewers of the ITV breakfast show – which has aired a special episode today for the major royal event – were convinced the popular anchor, 52, had slipped up.
GMB fans are convinced Susanna Reid swore during the show’s Coronation Special
It came as Susanna switched the coverage to Kate Garraway
Viewers were convinced Susanna, 52, uttered the curse word ‘b***h’
It came when Susanna was referring to the new Queen, Camilla, when she said: “She is now considered one of the most senior royals of course.”
Then transferring to Good Morning Britain co-presenter Kate Garraway, 56, Susanna continued: “Kate is at at Buckingham Palace
“And Kate friends say she [Queen Camilla] has grown in confidence in her new role.”
Before Kate – in prime position for King Charles’ Coronation action – could reply, a series of loud taps could be heard ahead of some muttered words, which fans are convinced saw Susanna say: “‘B***h, it is not good.”
Yet Kate, ever the pro, continued with her segment as she said: “Absolutely, absolutely. She’s just over there.”
Yet fans were quick to pick up on the supposed remark on Twitter.
One put: “Did Suzanna just call Kate a b***h?”
A second put: “I’m obsessed with it not even being 8am and Susanna has called someone a b***h off camera. Coronation day is brightening up!”
A third then wrote: “Who heard Susanna say b***h as Kate Garraway started talking?,” as another added: “Did I just hear Susanna off camera on a live mic say ‘b***h’?”
One then wrote: “Ooo, who was having a good old snipe in the background there… I heard them calling someone a b***h.”
The moment came after Spice Girl Mel B gatecrashed Susanna’s big coronation moment.
The presenter was speaking about the “momentous day” in a segment set to music – when Spice Girl Mel B jumped into the shot.
The world-famous singer leapt in front of Susanna and Ben Shephard in the final moments of the special programme.
It came as Susanna was concluding Good Morning Britain today with a moving scripted sign-off set to music.
She said: “It will an historic moment in what promises to be a momentous day here in Westminster.”
Mel B, 47, then jumped into the shot, leaving Susanna and co-host Ben laughing.
Earlier in the morning, ITV anchor Susanna had revealed her new “Coronation hair” after a major makeover.
