GOGGLEBOX star Shaun Malone melted viewers’ hearts as he introduced his baby son Louis on screen for the first time last night.
The 25-year-old lad became a dad for the first time in July when his partner Jade gave birth to their son but the newborn had yet to make an appearance on the family’s favourite sofa.
And last night the family finally gave viewers a glimpse of their four-month-old baby.
Father and son appeared together right at the beginning of last night’s show.
Shaun held baby Louis in his arms with the little one wearing a blue onesie.
Back in July Shaun , a fixture on the Channel 4 hit alongside dad Tom and mum Julie, tweeted: “Super happy to announce the birth of my son Louis Malone.”
He added later: “Thanks for everyone’s interest, mother and baby are both well I couldn’t be more proud of my girlfriend I wouldn’t be that brave having my belly cut open.”
The family’s Twitter account – run by Tom and Julie plus Shaun’s brother Tom Junior – weighed in with congratulations of their own.
They posted: “So excited to welcome our new Grandson Louis !!!! Can’t wait to meet him. Congratulations !!!”
The Malone family, from Manchester, joined Gogglebox for its fourth series back in 2014 and – together with their many dogs – became one of the show’s biggest stars.
Alongside his regular duties on the family sofa, Shaun works as a coach at Manchester United.
He revealed in 2016 that he once almost died after developing a rare brain disease.
Aged just 15, he spent six hours in theatre before coming out in a coma and over the next two months he underwent a further six operations.
