Good Morning Britain fans convinced they’ve spotted a ‘feud’ between presenters as Ben Shephard & Ranvir Singh host show

GOOD Morning Britain fans have been left convinced they’ve spotted a feud between the ITV show’s presenters.

Ben Shephard and Ranvir Singh took over from Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley no Thursday.

Today’s show began with a sombre Ranvir informing viewers of Vladimir Putin’s “barbaric” bombing of a maternity ward in Ukraine.

The programme reported live from the war-torn country and spoke to a number of experts, with both Ben and Ranvir bursting with questions for them.

But the heavy topic looked like it was taking its toll on the pair, with viewers saying they appeared off with each other today.

Writing on Twitter, one person watching at home said: “What’s the matter with Ben Shepherd this morning ?? He’s cut-across & interrupted Ranvir half a dozen times !? (..and he does it in the most obvious & rude manner….as if he’s in bad mood ???)”

Another asked: “Ben seems a bit p****d off with Ranvir butting in”

One more agreed, writing: “deffo thinking someone’s P****d on Bens’ cornflake this morning. they normally get on unless a spat earlier?”

Since Piers Morgan’s dramatic exit last year there has been a rotation of GMB presenters including Madeley, Martin Lewis and Alastair Campbell, but Susanna Reid has remained front and centre.

The Celeb Report also revealed Good Morning Britain bosses are desperate to hold on to Ranvir after she secretly quit her role as political editor.

Insiders said Ranvir, 44, was sick of the cold mornings standing on the doorstep of Number 10 and handed in her notice at the end of last year under the premise she would be move into a more substantial role on the flagship ITV show.

Susanna has spoken about how much she enjoys working on GMB, telling The Celeb Report: “I’m lucky enough to be working in an industry that is changing, and particularly in ITV Daytime, we’ve got so many strong women.

“I work in a team of brilliant women – Ranvir [Singh], Charlotte [Hawkins], and Kate [Garraway].”

Adding that they’ve become especially close sine Kate’s husband’s illness, she said: “Particularly we all bonded and we’re protective around Kate – that’s really important.”
