Helen Flanagan has teased a comeback to Coronation Street in the near future

Helen, 30, who is currently expecting her third child with footballer fiance Scott Sinclair, 31, first appeared on our screens as Rosie in 2000 and has flouted in and out of the role ever since.

In 2012 the star decided to leave the Cobbles to help improve her deteriorating mental health, but made a comeback in 2017.

The actress left the soap again in 2018 to give birth to her second child and is now getting ready to welcome Matilda Jessica, five, and two-year-old Delilah Ruby’s baby brother or sister into the world.

After three years away from set, Helen is itching to get back to her second home so that she can be reunited with her on-screen mum and teased that it could be sooner than we all think.

She told the chat show host: “I miss Corrie so much, I really do.

“I miss everything about it. I miss the excitement of filming. I miss Brooke (Vincent). I miss Sally (Dynevor). I really do.

“Obviously I grew up on the Street as well, so I miss everything about it.

“And I really, really want to go back but when the time is right obviously, because I feel you know what’s it like after you’ve had a baby.

“You just want to – if you can, if you’re lucky enough to stay at home – you want to kind of have that bonding time with them.”

Viewers will remember that Rosie left the Cobbles to grab her lifelong dream of being a model with both hands by moving to Japan.

After a brief stint on This Morning alongside Craig Tinker, an agent spotted her on TV and she jetted off for a better life in East Asia.

Helen has bagged herself a range of roles during her breaks from the soap and appeared on various TV chat shows including Celebrity Juice, Virtually Famous and Big Brother’s Bit On the Side.

But what she’s most proud of is her two girls Matilda and Delilah that she shares with the Preston North End winger.

The pair have been dating since 2009 and got engaged in 2018.

And after such an awful year in 2020, Helen and Scott had some very exciting news to share in back September.

She shared a snap of her growing baby bump on Instagram and told her 967k followers: “Our 3rd baby arriving March.” He added: “Baby number 3 on the way 2021
