Speaking to the Telegraph, Lederer revealed that back in the 80s, she earned a staggering £70,000 for just a day and a half of work filming an advertisement for Finish dishwasher tablets. She reminisced about splurging the earnings on designer clothes, showcasing her preference for spending over saving.

While fans may recognize Lederer from her role in Coronation Street as Ken Barlow's love interest, she pointed out that the commercial gig brought in money faster than her acting roles. Despite the financial success of the dishwasher tablet ad, Lederer expressed her joy at being part of the iconic Coronation Street cast and working alongside William Roache.
