THIS Morning’s Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield bounced back from the Queen queue-jump backlash by winning the Best Daytime gong at the National Television Awards.
The pair made their first public appearance since they were accused of skipping the line to see the late monarch lying in state last month.

Producers had feared the public — who vote for the NTA winners — would turn against the pair but Holly, 41, and Phil, 60, beat competition from Loose Women, The Repair Shop and The Chase to win.
As the award was announced, sections of the arena could be heard booing, while unimpressed Loose Women stars Kaye Adams and Judi Love appeared not to clap.
Collecting the award, Phillip said: “Please don’t ever think we get complacent and please don’t think we ever take this for granted. This means so much to us every year, especially this year.” Holly added: “Thank you so much. This award means everything as it is voted by you.
“I think This Morning has a very special relationship with you, you make our show for us, you really do.”

Organisers had feared the pair would be snubbed after they appeared to take VIP treatment rather than queue with the public during last month’s lying-in-state.

The duo vehemently denied claims they had pushed in front of people who had waited for up to 24 hours to pay their respects to Her Majesty.
But Holly went into a full charm offensive on the NTA red carpet, spending time shaking hands and posing for selfies with fans as she turned up without Phil.
Ironically, she was then forced to queue to get into the OVO Arena Wembley, as other guests waited to file in.
Phillip and daughter Molly, 29, also queued with other celebrity attendees as organisers checked tickets.
A witness said: “Phil was in good spirits — despite being crammed into a huge queue. No one said anything, of course, and he kept a low profile. He was with Molly and looked very relaxed.”
Celebs at the awards included TV presenter AJ Odudu, Eurovision singer Sam Ryder and Strictly winner Rose Ayling- Ellis, while comedian Joel Dommett larked about with wife Hannah Cooper.
